A&V Softball Tournaments held the first of two Annual Ring Tournaments on Saturday June 7, 2008 at Big League Dreams in Cathedral City. Thirty six teams from around the greater Southern California Metropolitan area participated in the event. To say this tournament was competitive is an understatement.. Big Bear City, CA - Dedicated softball players drove up the mountain through fog, rain, and snow, to play some softball games on Memorial Weekend. Temperatures on Saturday during the day never got over 40 and as night fell it got to 18. Sunday was a little warmer as it got to 50 during the day and fell to 28 at night.
